1. Information Provided Directly by Parents

Our app does not require account registration or login to create stories. However, we collect specific information when explicitly provided by a parent or guardian:

• Email Addresses: When a parent submits an email address to use the "Send to Inbox" feature or to join the VIP Waitlist for our Amazon KDP illustrated books, we collect that email address securely.
• Story Input Text: We parse the specific plot ideas typed or dictated via the microphone button to generate the customized story and book illustrations.

2. Data Collected Automatically (Technical Tracking)

To ensure system stability, enforce our infrastructure security, and guard against high demand server exhaustion, we process limited local data:

• Local Browser Storage: We use your device's native browser localStorage to manage our daily frictionless limit of 5 free story generations. This data stays strictly on your physical device and is never synchronized to external tracking systems.
• Server Logs & Cache: Our server caches MD5-hashed prompt keys to serve repeat story prompts instantly without consuming backend server capacity. This layer records no identifiable user signatures.

3. Third-Party Service Implementations

We work exclusively with trusted infrastructure partners to process the safe fulfillment of story Box assets:

• Email Management & CRM (Brevo API): Submitted email addresses are added directly to our secure contact lists inside Brevo to handle the transaction delivery of generated text blocks and provide digital updates on our children's books.
• Artificial Intelligence Engines: Story texts are processed sequentially via the Google Gemini API or our Groq fallback network. Graphic cover art elements use the Pollinations AI matrix. No identifying metadata or parent tracking records are passed to these endpoints.

4. Strict COPPA & Children's Data Compliance

We strictly comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). The Magic StoryBox is an interactive application intended to be used by parents to generate creative content for their children.

• We do **NOT** knowingly collect personal data or email records directly from children under the age of 13.
• We do **NOT** display behavioral advertisements or deploy ad tracking networks anywhere on our interface.
• If you believe a child under 13 has inadvertently provided an email address directly to our system, please contact us immediately, and we will purge the record from our CRM list within 24 hours.

5. Parent Rights over Collected Data

You retain absolute ownership over your communication endpoints. At any point, parents can request complete data elimination:

• You can opt-out of our marketing list or VIP book launch waitlist instantly by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link included at the bottom of every automated email.
